Seniors: ACT or SAT

All seniors who have not taken an ACT or SAT need to sign up to take one as soon as possible. Orange Grove High School will be offering a free SAT exam to thirty-five students on October 14, 2020. This exam will be on campus.

Join OGHS Book Club Now

Book Club is going online this year! Once the threat of Covid-19 has lessened, we may have a few face-to-face interactions, but for the time being everything will be virtual.
If you are a reader, a lover of books, a fan of fiction (or non-fiction), join us in our Google Classroom. Use Class Code glpgj34. Visit the classwork section to see what's already going on. Everything is totally optional. Participate as much as you want. If you'd like to get started, please join the chat in the Classwork section titled "Summer Reads" and comment with what you read this summer.

OG-London Football Game Change

This Friday's football game against London will now be played at Tuloso-Midway. Game time is 7:30 PM and gates open at 6 PM. All tickets will be sold at the gate, there are no online sales. Cost of tickets is $5 (adults) and $3 (students). Capacity for the away side is 600 and there is no limit of tickets per athlete.
No passes will be accepted for this game.
Our game will also be live streamed on Rio Sports.

Important First Day of F2F School Informaton

Orange Grove High School has completed the fourth week of remote learning.
Freshman students who attended orientation this past week were given a map of how to transition on campus beginning on Tuesday.

Dress code will be enforced beginning on Tuesday. Students will:
have shirts tucked in, have no holes or fray on pants, have hair that is not two toned. Hair coloring or dyeing of hues that do not occur in any natural color hair is not allowed, boys’ hair should not extend below a standard dress collar, middle of the ear, and must not extend below the eyebrows, boys faces are to be free of facial hair, not be allowed to wear warm-ups, wind-pants, tights or any other tight fitting clothing.
*Registration packets need to be turned in to the high school office as soon as possible. If you have not picked one up, you are asked to come to the high school, and one will be given to you at the front door. Students returning to school on Tuesday who have not turned in their registration packets will be given one on Tuesday. We ask that you please complete the packet and have your child return it to the office.

Fundraiser: Be Bold Go Gold T-shirts

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, we will be selling "Be Bold, Go Gold" t-shirts. The fundraiser will be ending on Sept 9th. You should receive your shirt by Sept 25th.

Parents can schedule an appointment to work with a FAFSA representative one-on-one at the high school on October 28. Call Mrs. Clark to schedule an appointment.
