Annual Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winners

On Tuesday, March 7, three members of the Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Department came to our high school to judge the annual fire prevention poster contest. This is a part of the national competition.

Below are the winning posters' creators. All posters will advance to the South Texas Central District competition on March 18, 2023.

Seniors Must Complete the FAFSA before Graduation

Seniors don't forget to get your FAFSA completed or sign a waiver! If you still need help with this graduation requirement, the FAFSA representative comes to our campus every other week. See the counselor to schedule an appointment with the FAFSA representative.

Attendance Incentives

Orange Grove High School is working to encourage all OGHS students to be at school all day. To qualify for this incentive, and to be fair to ALL students the attendance count will start on Monday, November 14.
Sea World Field Day
• Zero absences
• Partial day with doctor’s excuse

Bowling Field Day

• No more than three days absent

Movie and Pizza

• No more than five days absent

*Only one incentive per student
*(In regard to this incentive) Any other full day absence excused or unexcused, will count as an absence.
*Incentive will be awarded in late May. All incentives paid for by OGHS.
